The obsession with the block of flats

The hole in the wall
Fire in the hole
Water on the wall
My haiku-ish creation goes to bloguette007 who is currently dealing with the ravages of pipes, plumbers and landlords. Courage, my little one. Time erases everything.
it’s not just time - but a combination of a hammer, two glasses of whiskey, plaster and a plaster knife
be a doll, and save me all except for the hammer. I might start mending my own.
But do we have that time? That is, if it is certain we want to forget…
we have some time, we don’t have all the time. Sometimes we want to forget, sometimes our brains does it for us, it’s its way to protect itself.
They say that “Time assuages” –
Time never did assuage –
An actual suffering strengthens
As Sinews do, with age –
Time is a Test of Trouble –
But not a Remedy –
If such it prove, it prove too
There was no Malady –
