Two big dogs in the dog enclosure in the park, seriously barking at Tisa. She was calmly merely looking at them from behind the fence. A lady owner, with endearment in her voice: “O my, we are so little and so unafraid”. Yes, in situations like this the deaf dog seems to be cool.
Now I have to choose between a calmer dog and a dusty dog. I am letting the dirt of this city come into my home. One cannot have everything?
A deaf dog also listens. Meaning you can still talk to a deaf dog. A deaf dog however doesn’t necessarily listen to you. Meaning I also know a lot of dogs which don’t listen to commends. So, there!
I hate it when you have to go, sniff, plan, target, and then you go outside the perimeter. That’s so… human. That’s so boss like.
The day before yesterday we were all busy wiping puke off the car upholstery and our own clothes. Dog puke. Too much excitement for the field trip?
Yesterday I have spent a good part of the day on all fours obsessed with gathering all the snowy flakes from under the kitchen cabinets. White dog, white fur. I think the dog loves me most when I am on the floor too. She must be thinking I am playing with her. And she adores being vacuum cleaned. The furry outside, not the inside, silly!
Today I have been contemplating writing about these, as the dog slept all the way through the eathquake, dropped her chewing bone in the water, played with food, chewed on drawers, on the walls and what not. Maybe I should write a book about raising the deaf dog?
You know your puppy is truly sweet when people you have over offer to clean up the poop.
Yeah, I have been away from my WordPress dashboard. I am raising a dog. Or she is me, whatever way. I have mostly been too tired or too lazy or too depressed to write, or even to write about it. For that matter this post could’ve been titled “A little dog can pee a lot”. Or “How to keep clean and sane at the same time”. Or” Love is blind. And it sure goes deaf, if it really has to”.
In short, I have bought a puppy without intending to keep her, but because of my momentary impulse. She is squealing as we speak so I must attend to her. Let me revert to you on this issue as soon as possible.
